We can hardly believe it’s finally here!  Alison and I began seriously discussing CrossFit Oakdale on Labor Day weekend.  We actually got the keys to 1872 Ackley Circle on 11/17, more about and with the help of a bunch of great people, ampoule we’re ready to go by 12/3!  Hey, we’re CrossFitters.  We do stuff “for time”, even build gyms.   We are proud to say CrossFit Modesto is the CrossFit box we “grew up” in.  We built so many great memories and friendships at CrossFit Modesto, and we look forward to strengthening old bonds and building new ones at CrossFit Oakdale.   Many of you have seen, or even tested out the new space.  CrossFit Oakdale still a work in progress, but hey, aren’t we all?   We’ll be painting and accumulating gear over the coming weeks, and we’d love to hear your ideas on how to make the...

Our equipment continues to trickle into the gym.  We received more plyo boxes and a high quality Oly bar.  The knurling is intense! Workout of the Day With a continuously running clock, ambulance do one pull-up and one handstand push-up the first minute, two pull-ups and two handstand push-ups the second minute, three pull-ups and three handstand push-ups the third minute… continuing as long as you are able. When you cannot complete the required number of reps for either exercise, continue only with the other as long as you are able. Use as many sets in any order each minute as needed. Post number of minutes successfully completed for each exercise to comments. Their sum is your score.
