Fundraising is fun, isn’t it? It has FUN in the word itself. CrossFit Oakdale is trying to raise $$ for Barbells For Boobs by putting our coaches on the line. They agreed, I promise. If you attended classes today, or follow us on instagram, you know that Denny’s  donation jar got LIT UP. And that is not just the hip words we hear in our teen class. Tim and his marketing entourage literally lit up the jar. Best part – Denny is off the grid for the weekend and won’t be able to retaliate until next week. Our Healthy Living Challenge is over. Hopefully our challengers have learned some new recipes, gotten rid of a good amount of sugar and are feeling better. Our goal for these challenges is always to improve upon our current conditions. Maybe we used sugar in our coffee, but now we drink it black. Maybe instead of a drink during the week, you stick to the weekends. Maybe we added more veggies to our daily meals. It might not even have been a dietary change! Our lives can get so busy that there is no time to breathe, between work projects, school projects, the stuff you have to do and the stuff you want to do. I am sure that 95% of us could use a little slowing down, a chance to stop and smell the roses. Self care might be a current buzz word, but I am glad it is getting...
