This weekend is Relay for Life at the Oakdale High School! First thing I want to say is THANK YOU to everyone who has donated – whether it be money, illness raffle prizes or tables and tents. This is our first year taking on this challenge and it could not happen without you guys!
There will be no classes at CrossFit Oakdale on Saturday. BUT you can come down and work out with us and support all of the other teams as well. From what I hear there are a ton of booths where teams are selling food and items, drug with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. We will be having a spinner wheel with mini workouts on it in which you can either challenge someone outright or perform the WOD and get your name on the leaderboard. Top names will receive prizes.
The kids tent will have games and crafts, web changing up every few hours. There is also a kids raffle basket. Kids can win raffle tickets by participating in mini-wods.
Raffle Tickets are $1 per ticket, $10 for 12 tickets and $20 for 25 tickets. Baskets range from food items to camping items. You do not need to be present to win, we will give you a call and let you know.
If you haven’t signed up to walk yet, there are plenty of spots left. Please let me know.
For those of you spending the day/night with us – bring sunscreen, bugspray, chairs, tents… anything to make you comfortable throughout the time.
If you haven’t had a chance to spend the weekend with CrossFit Oakdale yet, this is a good prep for Regionals!

I stole this one from CrossFit One World. Scale accordingly, you can lower the number of reps (from 40 to 30, or 20) or adjust for difficulty (bands/jumping pullups, lighter KB, etc). You can sub rowing or air dyne for the runs.
