We don’t always do birthday workouts, BUT when we do, it is a goodie. Michele B turns 60 years old tomorrow and we are excited to celebrate the day with her. She started at CrossFit Oakdale exactly 6 years ago and has made great strides throughout the many Open’s she has competed in.
Michele is part of a small breed of human – those that decided to get fit a little later in life. She had some life experiences, jobs, kids, travels, probably some good meals, and came yo us with the normal maladies of the modern world. Now, she can deadlift more than her bodyweight, row like a sailor and do burpees until her heart may stop. Instead of going to the doctor for the health stuff – she has “fit person problems.” Like, she’s done so many swings she has tendinitis.
