Fran-on-Monday

There will be no Franniversary this year. I am not sure what to say about that, because it has been such a staple to CrossFit Oakdale. No gauntlet, no ridiculous floater, no pomp and circumstance.

We will make up for this. The first way is FRAN ON MONDAY. Tomorrow is our last Fran tester. Brian will talk strategy on Monday night. BUT your legs are strong and you will do great.

Secondly – just in case you couldn’t pick ONE teammate for Franniversary, the Every Meter Counts Row-a-thon can accommodate up to 10 teammates!

“Every Meter Counts is a row-a-thon in a typical “a-thon” format. Teams of 4 or more people will begin rowing at 7:15am with the goal of hitting 100,000 meters during the day.
Teams will decide their rowing schedule, and rowers will be cleaned wiped down between shift change. Rowers will also be socially distanced, with limited number of team members supporting the person on the rower.
Entry fee is $30 per person, with a minimum of 4 people per team. Each person will receive a commemorative t-shirt with their entry fee.
Each person will also receive a pledge form. True to old school jog-a-thon style, we are looking for rowers to get pledges per meter rowed. Straight donations are ABSOLUTELY WELCOME as well.
All profit will go directly to the Oakdale Family Resource Center to help out those in our community who are in need during this time. Funds will go towards Holiday meals as well as Angel Tree items.
Prizes for fastest finishing team, Team Spirit (get your themed costumes ready!) and the most $ raised by one team.
Because space and rowers are limited, it would be great to have bigger teams – up to ten people.
More details to come!
Please contact Alison at 209-345-4380 for registration and details.”

Coach Brad will be schooling you up on rowing on October 25th at 10am.

Looking for volunteers to help out during the Row-a-thon.

Only a few weeks away from the Speakeasy! Excited for a fun day.
