The fundraiser for Mason, malady as 4 year old with medulla blastoma, seek is this Saturday at Keller Williams Realty, 1001 Sylvan Ave, Modesto from 9-12.  There is a Sandbag WOD in Superhero gear.  Pat (of Mac’s Athletics in Stockton)and Patty are great friends of CrossFit Oakdale, and we would love to see you out there, working hard and raising funds for Mason and his family.  We are wearing our best superhero duds to put on a show for Mason. Three Franniversary thoughts: There are a couple swear words in this post.  I don’t think the emotion of the moment can be properly captioned with edited versions of my interactions.  Sometimes the “F” word is the most descriptive word in the English language. Christian’s partner was friend of CFO Krista Messer.  During the Fran portion, this web I saw Krista banging out thrusters, clinic picking up the bar (with Bob yelling at her) and doing some more.  I remember wondering “where is her partner?”  I went over to Bob and asked “where is Christian?”  Without losing count, visit this Bob said over his shoulder “He’s in the parking lot throwing up,” and kept counting for Krista.  It warms the cockles of my heart that someone would go that hard. WHO’S WHO at CFO John Lindblom is a fun, sale hard working, more about down to earth, order family man. Crossfit Oakdale is fortunate to have the whole Lindblom family, Sarah, JP, and Lucas. Congratulations to the winners of the Third Annual Franniversary! In the Elite division, website BTF (Jennie McKernan & Valerie Calhoun) from Rocklin CrossFit took home the top spot, with Festivus (Nick and Jen Zambruno) in second, and Lifeworx (Shaun Eagen and Mike Thai)  in third. In the Open Division, Team Vicks (Austin and Lauren Vickers) from CrossFit Lodi took home the top spot after a fierce tie breaker.  Team Balla (Laura and Janae Balla) from CrossFit Bios took second and the Jerk Offs(Eric Garcia and Jarid Martinez) from CrossFit Reedly took third. The Spirit of the Franniversary went to the Cousins(David Poore Turner and Keith Michelluci) from CrossFit Sav-Up. We are so excited to welcome athletes from all over the area to CrossFit Oakdale. Flow Registration will begin at 6:45.  There will be an athlete briefing at 8:10.  Attendance at the briefing is not mandatory, erectile but if you have questions, this will be your chance to ask them. Girls Gauntlet The first 2 teams kick off at 8:30a, and 2 teams will go every 10 minutes, 5 minutes to work, 5 minutes to rest/transition.  The 2 teams will be working at the same time to push the pace.  The first Elite teams will go at 10am.  Again, 2 teams every 10 minutes, 5 minutes of work, 5 minutes of rest.
