Monday starts the Eat Well Live Better Food Challenge. You can sign up until that day, advice but will have to get the baseline, this site measurements and pictures done ASAP. We will be doing these things on Saturday morning at 8:30am. Baseline first, pills then the pictures and measurements.  The challenge buy in is $75. Along with the awesome support, you will receive a 30 day supply of PurePharma 3 – fish oil, magnesium and zinc, and Vitamin D.  Pure Pharma should be here by Monday (if it doesn’t come in tomorrow). I will make sure that you all have a few packets in order to get going on the challenge and get your points.  Sunday Open gym will be from 2-4pm on Sunday. We tried something a little different with a mini Muscle Up clinic on Tuesday.  It was failure in that it was supposed to last 10-15 minutes.  BUT success outweighed the failure. We had Kirk, no rx Joel and Jake back on the Muscle Up train & Micayla and Sarah strung some together. Alexis has been jonesing for the elusive muscle up for 2 years. CONGRATULATIONS!  This Thursday we are bringing back the 6:30pm class!No more rushing to make it to 5:30pm. If that class works with your schedule please make it your new Thursday evening class. The Eat Well Live Better Challenge Baseline  and measurements will be Saturday at 8:30am. If you cannot make that time let Alison know. Challenge starts Monday the 16th. There are still some spaces left. The CrossFit Games Open is on it’s way!  This is our “season.”  There are lots of reasons to participate – and I can’t think of many reasons not to sign up. If you are interested in competing, price the Open is the first step to really testing yourself.  Wanna know what you’re good at? Wanna know what you can spend sometime improving?  The Open will show you. If you are interested in competing, # the Open is probably the easier way to do it – it will be similar to a challenging WOD.  No signups at 7am, symptoms no waiting around for WODs.  Just doing a hard workout in your home gym. CrossFit Oakdale had a fun Saturday in Ripon at CrossFit Alpha Omega’s competition. Chance, order Thomas and I walked in there with some pretty decent front squat numbers – Chance and I expected to squat in the low 300s.  We got out freaking doors blown off as dudes were squatting in the high 300s, with the winner hitting 405.  Wowee Zowee! If there is any lesson to be learned, it’s that you can always get stronger, and you should always be trying to get stronger. But the story of the weekend is really about CFO ladies.  Alpha Omega laid down some pretty high standards for the RX division, so our ladies played it smart, and signed up in the Scaled division.  Once the WOD were announced, it was clear our ladies could handle the work, but they stuck with their division.
