First Regionals Weekend

Did anyone besides me spend most of your weekend watching the CrossFit Games Regionals?  Here’s my update – athletes are getting younger and fitter.
This will be a different week – CrossFit Oakdale will be closed from Thursday, May 25 through Monday, May 29.  CFO will re-open on Tuesday, May 30, returning to a normal schedule.  The parking lot is being resurfaced and with Memorial Day on Monday, we’ll take the opportunity to take rest and come back ready for the summer.
We will take a break from our strength cycle for this week and do 3 fun workouts and lifts.  Tuesday is particularly nasty.
What about Murph?  We will Murph as a gym on Saturday, June 11, 2o17.

50 Burpees
After watching the Regionals all weekend, we have a plan to make the workout feel like a Regionals style race.
